2011
Specialty Camps will be announced
in January.

Teen Leadership Programs

Traditional Day Camp

Wabansi Jam
Back by popular demand, this arts based mini-week is open to campers and teen leaders who want to put on a fabulous outdoor production for Wabansi's friends, families, alumni, and community. Between art, drama, music, and tech crews, there are great opportunities for everyone!

Horse Camp
Horse lovers will spend two days at the ranch learning about good horsemanship and riding techniques. Learn what it takes to care for horses by grooming, saddling, and feeding them. Campers will practice proper horse control on the ground and in the arena. Top off your time at the corral with an individual ring lesson tailored to your ability level and, of course, an obstacle course!

S'more Sports

Ever played water balloon volleyball? How about
frisbee dodgeball? Squirt gun tag? Try them all! This session is for sports lovers who want a week jampacked with sports, games, and fun spins on the traditional classics.

Bay Splashers
If you love spending time on the water, this session is for you. Play Aqua-Capture the Flag in a kayak, make a slam dunk in water basketball, even enjoy a lunch trip in the canoes. This week will be spent hanging out at the waterfront enjoying all sorts of water and boating games.

Fishing Camp
Calling all anglers!  Door County is home to numerous fishing hot spots.  We'll teach you about Wisconsin's fishing regulations, catch & release practices, and all about the fish in Green Bay while we enjoy some of our nearby fishing docks.  Don't let 'the big one' get away!

Survivor 1
Test your skills in the great outdoors. You and your tribe will be challenged with many outdoor skills including orienteering, firebuilding, basic first-aid, raft-building, and making shelters. Forget the bag lunches because you're going to create your own recipes over the fire this week! If you choose to stay overnight on Thursday, your tribe and counselors will camp out in Wabansi's famous "Yabwe" campsite. Who needs electricity
anyway?

Survivor 2
Couldn't get enough Survivor? We heard you! Reunite with your tribe members as you embark on even bigger adventures. As an added bonus, you'll have the option to spend Tuesday night at camp with just your fellow survivors and counselors to conquer awesome challenges! Campers must have previously participated in Survivor 1.

Young Artists

Craving something creative?  Campers will spend two days with professional artists at the Hands-On Art Studio in Fish Creek, Wisconsin to create art beyond their wildest imaginations!  After a day of individual projects that may include pottery, mosaics, and glass fusing, campers will work together to create a permanent art display that will remain at Camp Wabansi for years to come.
