Character development is not simply a short activity at Camp Wabansi.  We strive to instill important core values in everything we do - from cleaning up after ourselves to sharing camp equipment to taking care of our natural environment.

Campers practice caring through being sensitive to the needs of fellow campers and helping them when needed.

Campers practice honesty through team-building activities and building trusting relationships with their peers and counselors.

Campers practice respect by treating others the way they would want to be treated.

Campers practice responsibility by being accountable for their actions and keeping camp clean.

On Thursday night during the Parent Night program, campers are individually recognized for their growth in these core areas.
